Clownfish

Clownfish are one of the attracting fishes which come from family called Amphiprioniane. Clownfish are bright orange in color with three distinctive white bars. They grow about 11 cm in length. The average life span of this fish is 6 to 10 years. There are nearly 28 well known species of anemonefish exists, most of which live in shallow waters. Clownfish can be found largely in Indian Ocean, The Red Sea and in the western pacific. Interestingly all Clownfish are born male but have the ability to switch their sex. However the change is irreversible. Clownfish eat live food such as molluscs, plankton, and algae.
